I love the versatility of Photography as a fine art. I can approach from analog or digital means and I don’t separate myself as a digital or film photographer. I embrace the process both mediums have to offer. Regardless of digital or analog methods the time and care put into each image doesn’t change, for every hour spent in a dark room equates to effort spent in lightroom processing of a digital photograph. Photography is a shared experience between myself and those that view my images, unlike a snapshot that is to record, a piece of art is meant to portray and communicate what I as the artist feel in the scape I inhabit. Photography is not an instant art form. It takes time to produce a perfect print. Much like painting, anyone can paint a picture, anyone can take a picture. Creating a painting is not something everyone can do. Creating a photographic work of art is not something everyone can do.
